Residence on Pollard Street was reported to the City and corrections were made. Las Casas Realty removed the windows from the dormer without approval. As you can see the windows were reinstalled into both sides of the dormer.

6317 Garvanza Avenue has a LADBS correction work order to restore the windows and put the siding back on this house. This cottage is in the HPOZ and residents have reported the concerns to LADBS. Stay tuned.

6527/6529 Pollard Street Gothic Victorian duplex was purchased by Las Casas Realty. They have taken out dormer windows on both the East and West sides of this full contributor to our district. They have also changed the original window massings on several windows that were original from wood to vinyl. And also altered the massing dimensions by making the windows smaller. A violation of the HPOZ guidelines.

All areas facing the curbed street of the exterior of a full contributor must follow the Secretary of the Interior Standards for HPOZ. Eliminating or altering any door or window massings without the permission of the HPOZ board is not acceptable procedure.

Someone has filed a report to the HPOZ board. Will be updating.
