GIA has been around for over 100 years. It was restarted in 1985. GIA has been working hard over the last several decades to save historic properties.

The Garvanza Improvement Association was founded in the late 19th century. The GIA is now moving forward with the Highland Park - Garvanza HPOZ Expansion which should designate our area officially part of the Historic District within a few weeks!

GIA is posting this notice in support of the Angelina Heights HPOZ. A developer is trying to push through an 11 unit building in the Angelina Heights HPOZ. There is a housing ordinance SB684 in which the developer is exploiting to push these plans through. Please sign the petition.
