When the other kids at Kanot Youth Village head out for the summer, Gaia stays. She's up early, before the heat settles in, walking out to the barn to check on the cows — the same cows that will be waiting for her in the fall, and the fall after that. She'll tell you the cows don't care what month it is. They need her every morning, and she shows up every morning.

Now the classrooms are filling again, and soon the shofar will sound. Rosh Hashanah asks us to look honestly at the year ahead and consider who will be sustained in it. For Gaia and hundreds of children like her in our youth villages, the answer depends on all of us. The teachers, the counselors, the meals, the school supplies, the feed in the barn, the quiet summer weeks when a child has nowhere else to go — none of it takes a holiday.

Every summer. Every school year. Every year.

As you enter the New Year, we're asking you to help us sustain it. A gift of $300 makes a meaningful difference in the life of a child like Gaia, and your support goes where it's needed most — across our youth villages, across every season.

Thank you for staying with our kids, every season of the year.

Shanah tovah u'metukah.

You might know NA'AMAT is the largest women's organization in Israel. But what does "NA'AMAT" mean? NA'AMAT – an acronym for Nashim Ovdot u'Mitnadvot – literally means “Working and
Volunteering Women.” Follow in the footsteps of our very own past member and NA'AMAT leader, Golda Meir and join today! https://naamat.org/join/

For a century, NA'AMAT USA members and donors have funded our work in Israel — not through one grand gesture, but through decades of dues, luncheons, phone calls, and volunteers who kept showing up.

To everyone who has ever said yes to us: thank you. You're the reason this works.

Over the past week, we have seen a troubling rise in antisemitic incidents around the world. From Germany to Mexico and Canada, Jewish and Israeli communities have faced threats, harassment, and violence simply because of who they are.

NA'AMAT International strongly condemns every act of antisemitism and hatred against Jewish people and Israelis, wherever it takes place.

Hate should never become something we accept. Every person has the right to live in safety, with dignity and without fear.

NA'AMAT International President Hagit Pe'er, joins in condemning these hate crimes and stands in solidarity with Jewish communities around the world. We stand with everyone affected by these attacks and call on leaders everywhere to take a clear stand against antisemitism and all forms of hatred.

Now, more than ever, we must stand together, speak out against hate, and choose respect, compassion, and humanity.
