Cancer has touched everyone, but it’s different for our officers. The financial hit, the career uncertainty, and the battles, are all real.

We are a week away….
September 17, 2026 for the San Diego Wellness Summit at Liberty Station.

For the first time Law Enforcement and Fire will discuss cancer. The challenges, the fight, and the differences.

Dr. Richard Moon, CEO Vickie Speed, and Scott Jennie, State Director/National Trainer of the Firefighter Cancer Support Network will take the stage to discuss:
“Early Detection, Better Outcomes - A Cancer Roadmap for those who Serve”

This Summit will provide a room full of vendors, and resources to give those that serve, and their agencies an opportunity for better.

This FREE event is open to Veterans, First Responders, and agencies.

Another Wellness Day in the books.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department IRC Wellness.

This is an annual commitment we make to our sworn and civilians that work in the jail system. Showing up to bring education and awareness to cancer and to share the resources available.

With Open Season starting October 1, and many of the sworn and civilian new to the job, this conversation is important. “Cancer can never happen to me, I’m too young” is no longer true!”

Blue Cancer Connect is thrilled to announce Chief Neil H. Gang (Ret. Police Chief) will be joining us on October 10, in Los Angeles as the emcee for an “Evening of Purpose.”

With more than 36 years in public safety, Chief Gang is a passionate advocate for law enforcement wellness, leadership, and the people behind the badge. Today, as CEO of 4th Watch Consulting, he continues his mission of supporting first responders and helping build stronger, healthier communities.

We’re excited to have his leadership, energy, and heart helping us make this a memorable evening!
