Thank you and the men and women of LASD for donating blood 🩸 to our own Deputy Telemaque.

When a sworn is diagnosed with cancer we don’t just step in, we show up in a big way.

Please continue to pray for Deputy Telemaque as he is heading into the final rounds of chemotherapy. These treatments have been very difficult and require long hospital stays.

Two solid days of networking, new friends, old ones, and sharing this cause at the fifth annual Brain and Body health symposium in Erlanger, Kentucky.

This incredible two day event is a must attend if you are in the Kentucky or Ohio area. This symposium exceeded every expectation we had.

Our deepest thanks to the Kentucky First Responder Peer Support Team for this incredible event, amazing presenters, and your dedication to changing the lives.

It’s is with a very heavy heart we have lost another officer to soon to cancer.

We send our prayers to the family, and partners of the Kern County Sheriffs Office who stood arm in arm with their Sergeant as he fought this horrible disease.

Always going to practice what we preach..

2 years ago I had a questionable mammogram and I went to City of Hope to get a second opinion. (It was clear)
The greatest female oncologist did a whole body exam…

I heard the words “please tell me you aren’t going to the tanning bed?”
I had stopped after Mitch passed from cancer but I realized in that moment the damage was done.

I am a year in to having spots removed and the bandage is where they had to cut deeper for another biopsy today.

My mom warned me and I didn’t listen 😢

My best advice, especially to young girls is stay away from the tanning beds, the price and skin damage aren’t worth it!

Blue Cancer Connect had the profound honor of attending “Bulletproofing Your Heart,” an 8 hour presentation presented by Benjamin Stone PhD. Dr. Stone has dedicated years of research, testing, data, and thousands of hours with our sworn creating a Law Enforcement Plan for heart health and living long into retirement.

We had the profound honor of sharing the stage and bringing cancer into this conversation. When you bring the Top 2 killers of First Responders to the room, lives are changed.

This one of a kind educational class by Dr. Stone is a MUST for all agencies.

We extend our deepest gratitude to LASD Commander Deedrik, Commander Seetoo, and Dr. Seetal for being leaders in wellness and truly caring about the health and wellbeing of our deputies.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department 3rd Annual Su***de 5K is in the books and they knocked it out of the park.

When an agency and communities come together change happens.

It was heartfelt to hear from Sheriff Robert Luna, and Dr. Seetal recognizing our sworn who have taken their lives. It was a day of remembering and saying their names.

It’s these conversations that bring awareness and encourage individuals to reach out for help.

Many years ago I met Glen from Curtis Blue Line, cancer brought our world’s together both personally and professionally.

We are proud of the relationships our team has built over the years and the unwavering support from our law enforcement community.

When missions and beliefs align big things can happen.

Today, we sat in a conference room and put some “Big” ideas on the table.

Together, we will be announcing something never done in Law Enforcement.
