Rise As One: Women Uniting Nations Through Sport, Music, and Youth Camps

This 90-minute digital session brings together global leaders across sport, music, and interfaith peacebuilding to explore how a multi-nation anthem and youth camps can foster unity, peace, and holistic wellbeing—especially for girls and young women.

Led by women, and strengthened by the support of men as allies working toward a shared, unified future. Rise As One is a global initiative using sport and music to bring communities together and create pathways for leadership, opportunity, and peace—moving from anthem to action through real-world activations.

BK Sister Dr. Jenna is a respected spiritual mentor, author, and director of the Meditation Museum, known for her work in consciousness, compassion, and purposeful leadership. She serves as a global voice in interfaith dialogue, values-based leadership, and inner transformation.

Just before introducing Maya Penn, Sister Dr. Jenna offered a thoughtful reminder about the purpose of global convenings like the G20. With genuine curiosity, she asked whether leaders are truly hearing the voices of women, youth, and communities, inviting all of us to consider how global platforms can translate inspiration into meaningful action.

She emphasized that while leadership carries significant responsibility, grassroots voices hold the power to sustain progress. At Power of Women, our intention is to ensure that every conversation contributes to real outcomes that uplift people on the ground.

Her reflections created the perfect foundation to introduce Maya Penn, a focused young leader committed to meaningful impact and using her voice with purpose.
