An incredible moment to close out Big Hollywood Reads… 📚

As National Reading Month comes to an end, we welcomed Johnson Hartig of as our final guest reader.

Johnson shared The Tale of Two Bad Mice by and The Boy Who Just Kept Drawing by , creating a powerful and emotional reading centered on kindness, generosity, and creativity.

It was the perfect way to wrap up this year’s program, reminding our students that stories don’t just teach us how to read…they help shape us into more compassionate humans!

We welcomed journalist as our next guest reader. She read with our students and really brought the story to life.

As a mom to a young son, Wendy connected instantly with the kids. After the reading, they had plenty of fun and curious questions about what it’s like to work in the news!

Moments like these help kids see how reading connects to the real world, big careers, and big dreams.

Guess who came through next for Big Hollywood Reads? 📚🏈

As National Reading Month continues, we welcomed Larrell Murchison, defensive end for the LA , as our next guest reader.

Larrell read two books, including , a favorite from his own childhood!

As you can see, these guys had fun! Sometimes reading time comes with a little silliness, and that joy and imagination are exactly what great stories are all about.

Initiatives like Big Hollywood Reads help our kids build confidence, strengthen literacy skills, and discover the joy of books.

Yesterday, incredible people like you showed up for our kids on Giving Tuesday. But the need doesn't stop.

This Club member spends 222 days a year here—more time than anywhere else besides school. This isn't just a gym. It's where they learn teamwork, burn off stress, and feel like they belong.
