Everybody Reads

Everybody Reads Come join us, read to elementary school students, and give each one a new book of their choice! Han C. Tran
Coordinator, Everybody Reads

Everybody Reads is a reading and book donation program run entirely by volunteers since early 2001. From the beginning, the Tzu Chi Foundation has funded the purchase of new books for our program. Since 2010, anonymous donors have funded program operations and the purchase of new books to supplement those funded by Tzu Chi. Everybody Reads volunteers read to elementary school students and give eac

h student a new book of their choice. With the enthusiastic support of the school's administration, the Everybody Reads program at Noble Elementary School in North Hills, CA has been in continuous operation since early 2001. With our March 21st, April 18th, and May 9th programs canceled in early 2020, our last program was February 22nd, 2020. Our program remains suspended while Noble Elementary School's campus is closed to programs like Everybody Reads. We eagerly await word from Noble Elementary School staff regarding a timeline for safely reopening their campus to our program volunteers. Until then, we must continue to do our part against COVID-19 and protect those who are most vulnerable.
