Meet The Author! The Incomparable Dr. Erroll G. Southers

As someone who has spent the past 50 years engaging with and fostering relationships with a number of renowned and legendary individuals, I can honestly say that I am deeply impressed by your humility.
Dr. Southers is a person who could easily boast about his accomplishments. He has a distinguished career in law enforcement, along with his service on numerous governmental agencies, boards and committees, reflecting a lifetime of exceptional achievements. Yet despite these remarkable accomplishments, he has remained grounded, approachable, and humble. That quality is what I admire most about him, and it is one of the many reasons I am looking forward to reading about his journey and learning more about the experiences that helped shape Dr. Southers into the extraordinary human being he is today.

Dr. Southers I am also grateful for the wisdom you have shared with me on issues that align closely with the mission and platform of Moms Allyship Against Racism (MAAR). One of those shared commitments is our collective effort to confront and eradicate hate in all of its forms. We stand united in the belief that education is essential to overcoming hate and that love remains the ultimate remedy.
Thank you for your time today. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting your office and having the opportunity to see some of the awards and historical photographs that chronicle your remarkable journey of service and leadership. It was both inspiring and enlightening.
You are truly a man who has come into the Kingdom for such a time as this. Your knowledge, experience, and wisdom have prepared you to make a meaningful impact on generations to come, and I am grateful for your willingness to share what you have learned along the way.
I look forward to reading your book and continuing to learn from your example.
With admiration and gratitude!

🇺🇸 THE BIRTH OF A NATION 🇺🇸

Juneteenth is now a national holiday...Now isn't it time we teach ALL children in schools the true history on the birth of this nation, and the truths of those enslaved souls forced LABORED that gave BIRTH to AMERICA.

As we have now celebrated Juneteenth, let us have a time of reflection, as well as taking the time to stop and talk to our children and each other about the purpose and significance of this day. Let's gather to initiate the "healing process", using this day for moving us "forward" as a nation; remembering the hardships of our ancestors, particularly the last of them to be freed long after the Emancipation Proclamation had been signed. Also, And let us remember the pride and the courage of the black soldiers of the United States Colored Troops who relieved them of bo***ge, and the 40,000 USCT soldiers who died for our freedom.

Honor their memory.
Happy Juneteenth, everyone.

RETRIAL!!!A recurring observation from public discourse indicates a disparity in perception regarding individuals possessing fi****ms. Specifically, when a Caucasian individual is depicted with a firearm, interpretations often align with roles such as a hunter, a patriot, a homeowner, or an individual exercising their constitutional rights. Conversely, when an African American individual is depicted with a firearm, the perception frequently defaults to that of a "thug."

This collage, which includes two images of myself, features multiple individuals holding fi****ms. Despite this, a significant portion of the commentary I have received identifies only one of these individuals as a "thug." While it is often asserted that race is not a factor in these assessments, the consistent divergence in assumptions based solely on the racial identity of the individual holding the same object strongly suggests a discernible pattern.

On May 25, 2020, George Floyd was murdered by police officer Derek Chauvin in Minneapolis, Minnesota. George Floyd's death was the catalyst that birth and created Moms Allyship Against Racism (MAAR).

His life and his legacy should never be forgotten. George Floyd was a human being cut down by forces of systemic bigotry and brutality that have stolen Black lives for centuries.

Much like Rodney King's beating, George's savage murder showed the world that racism and police brutality truly exist.

Once America and the world saw the video of police officer Derek Chauvin with his knee on George Floyd's neck and, hear the helpless cries from George like an injured child for his "Mama", you couldn't ' unsee or unhear" the torture he was being subjected to endure. He died right before our eyes. To ignore this type of brutality is inhumane.

In his death , the name George Floyd has become synonymous with the largest global civil rights movement in history, spurring protests in solidarity across roughly 60 countries. ,

In the months before and after Floyd’s murder, many more Black and brown lives have been senselessly lost to state violence—Breonna Taylor, Ma’Khia Bryant, Daunte Wright, Tony McDade, Adam Toledo, among others. Each of these tragedies reveal to some the anti-Black racism that has long been evident and experienced by too many. And they challenge us to dismantle racial inequality and white supremacy in all its forms.

MAAR is committed to combating the fule of hate, by educating to eradicate hate.

We remember our brother and son George Floyd.

We say his name:

George Perry Floyd Jr. We Speak You Name.

You have become a seed planted to eradicate injustice and police brutality.

About MAAR:
The legacy of "allyship activism" is the foundation's building blocks and guiding principles on which MAAR's platform is proudly rooted and founded.

The appeal continues for white women to liberate themselves from the bonds of "pink slavery" that they have historically supported within the white racist patriarchy paradigm, as my friend and mentor the late great Oscar nominated and Emmy winner actress, activist, teacher and poet, Beah Richards so eloquently expressed in her legendary poem A Black Woman Speaks... MAAR continues to educate to construct communication and educational bridges to make that possibility a reality for white women.
