We Listen. We Act. We Rise. 🌱

Ashley Higgins, a professional wardrobe stylist, shares her story of surviving assault by someone in the entertainment industry: someone who held a position of leadership and influence.

For Ashley, telling her story has been part of reclaiming her voice and her healing. ❤️‍🩹

What does justice look like for us?

It can look like feeling like yourself again.
It can look like finding your voice.
It can look like healing on your own terms.

And at ELAWC, we believe institutional accountability is also justice. When institutions protect power instead of people, survivors are left carrying a burden that was never theirs to carry.

Because when survivors speak, we have a responsibility to listen.
When harm happens, we have a responsibility to act.
And when survivors reclaim their voices, we rise with them.✊🏽

We Listen.
✊🏽 We Act.
🌱 We Rise.

Stories of resilience. Stories of resistance. Stories that remind us: our voices matter.

Women deserve to be safe: in schools, workplaces, homes, and everywhere in between.

When women face harassment, violence, and abuse, we must demand institutional accountability. Policies that protect survivors are essential- but real change happens when those policies are enforced and institutions are held accountable.

We believe survivors. We stand with them. And we will continue to demand systems that protect women, prevent harm, and deliver justice.
