Meet Alex Greene 💜

As an Ambassador for SNN NextGen, Alex is part of a growing network of emerging leaders committed to creating impact, strengthening community, and helping move the mission of Special Needs Network forward.

For Alex, that work starts with giving back. Building stronger communities means showing up for one another, creating opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities, and helping ensure every person has access to the support, resources, and inclusion they deserve.

SNN NextGen exists to bring together young professionals, creatives, advocates, and changemakers who want to make a difference while building meaningful connections and leadership opportunities along the way.

Through service, advocacy, networking, and community engagement, NextGen is creating space for the next generation to lead with purpose and create lasting impact.

Rapid fire with Porscha Coleman () and SNN NextGen’s Morgan Martin 💗🎤

From leadership to style, Porscha gave us all the gems.

When asked what NextGen means to her, her answer was simple: evolution. A reminder that growth, progress, and pushing things forward are at the heart of what this community is building.

She also shared what she believes our generation gets right: holding people accountable. Showing up, speaking up, and expecting better for our communities and the future we’re creating together.

And of course, we had to talk about the dress because… look at her 😍✨

A little wisdom, a little fun, and a lot of NextGen energy.

Still not over Pink Pump 2026 💗✨

A few more moments from an unforgettable afternoon filled with community, celebration, leadership, and purpose at the Beverly Hilton.

From the pink carpet energy to the conversations, laughter, fashion, and powerful moments throughout the day, this year’s gala brought together so many incredible people in support of Special Needs Network and the families we serve.

Every photo and every clip tells part of the story. A room full of people showing up for inclusion, advocacy, and impact while also knowing how to celebrate in style.

And everybody looked beautiful✨

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this year’s Pink Pump Affair so special.

Rapid fire with Kym Whitley () and SNN NextGen’s Morgan Martin () was exactly what you’d expect 😂💗

We got opinions on shoes, iconic music takes, elite dance era debates, and a reminder from Kym herself that NextGen is fierce, powerful, and fantastic.

From sneakers vs heels to conversations about community and leadership, this moment was fun, energetic, and such a perfect reflection of what SNN NextGen is becoming. A space where culture, connection, advocacy, and the next generation all come together naturally.

And according to Kym… her generation still had the best music. We’ll let the comments decide that one 👀🎶

We are officially one week away from Election Day 🗳️💙

As communities across California prepare to vote, it is important to remember how much is at stake for individuals with disabilities, neurodivergent communities, families, and caregivers. The policies and leaders elected today will help shape access to healthcare, education, transportation, workforce opportunities, support services, and community resources for years to come.

The disability community deserves to be heard, represented, and included in the decisions impacting our future. Voting is one of the most powerful ways we can advocate for our communities and protect critical services and support systems.

The 2026 Statewide Primary Election is under way. Are you ready to cast your vote? Head to PLAN.LAVOTE.GOV today to register to vote, check or update your registration, find election information, and make your plan.

Make your voice count. ✨

A powerful close to an unforgettable afternoon ✨📚

Guests at Pink Pump had the opportunity to meet Kimberlé Crenshaw () during a special book signing following the program, creating space for meaningful conversation, reflection, and connection around her work and impact.

From the stage to the signing table, her presence brought so much depth and purpose to the day. As a scholar, advocate, and leading voice on equity and social justice, Kimberlé Crenshaw continues to challenge perspectives and inspire important conversations across generations.

We are grateful to have shared this moment with her and with everyone who showed up ready to listen, learn, and engage. 💗

Rapid fire with Dani Bowman and SNN NextGen’s Morgan Martin 💗🎤

From favorite TV shows to conversations about inclusion and neurodiversity, this moment was fun, real, and such a perfect reflection of what SNN NextGen is all about.

One of the most powerful parts of the conversation was hearing Dani talk about how important inclusive spaces like NextGen are for neurodivergent individuals. Spaces where people feel seen, welcomed, connected, and part of the community without having to change who they are.

And of course, we had to throw in a few fun questions too ✨

Cute moments, meaningful conversations, and a reminder that inclusion should always feel this natural.

Thank you !
