📍 Maya Shelton | Washington, D.C.
A student at American University, Maya is already gaining hands-on experience in marketing, events, and creative leadership. She serves on the Student Union Board marketing team, is an event coordinator for the Black Business Student Association, and secretary of the Creative Collective. Outside of her campus involvement, she enjoys running, exploring new restaurants, and curating playlists.

📍 Orobosa Aghahowa | Bellflower, CA
A student at California State Polytechnic University, Orobosa is developing her musical talents through the drums and electric guitar. With a passion for experimenting with rhythm and sound, she enjoys exploring how music can create emotion, shape moods, and bring stories to life.

📍 Sinclair Powell | Montclair, NJ
A student at North Carolina Central University, Sinclair was surrounded by music before she was even born, thanks to her mother, a performing singer. Her connection to jazz began at seven, leading her to explore drums and piano before stepping behind the DJ decks at just 13. Today, she continues developing her sound and expressing her creativity through multiple musical outlets.

📍 Tamia Thomas | Queens, NY
A student at Howard University and member of the Howard University Jazz Singers, Tamia’s love for music began at just three years old when she saw Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You” music video. Captivated by the lights, rhythm, and melody, she immediately began dancing. That early moment sparked a lifelong connection to music, which she describes as her own form of communication.

📍 Malena Coleman | Brookhaven, GA
A student at Georgia State University, Malena’s childhood dream was to become an artist. After discovering rap and beginning to write her own songs, she realized there was more than one way to find her place in music. Whether in the spotlight or behind the scenes, she knew the industry was where she wanted to be.

📍 Madison Anderson | Connecticut
A student at Clark Atlanta University and graduate of a performing arts high school, Madison grew up immersed in Atlanta’s music scene through family members working in A&R and the record business. Those early experiences surrounded by artists and creativity helped turn her lifelong love of the arts into a desire to build a career in music.

📍 Marlania Okolo | Rowlett, TX
A student at Loyola University New Orleans, Marlania’s connection to music began with listening to Afrobeats with her family. From guitar lessons at seven to choir, band, and eventually songwriting, she continued exploring every musical outlet she could, and hasn’t stopped creating since.

📍 Makiya Hill | Pearl, MS
A student at Dillard University, Makiya has been singing in choirs since the age of five. From church choir to competitive and honor choirs, her journey has continued through college with recitals, collaborative performances, and leadership roles within her university’s music community.

A student at the University of Louisville, Ta’Kayla has been drawn to music and the performing arts since childhood. What continues to inspire her most is the power of storytelling the lyrics, emotion, and feeling an artist can communicate through a song and the way music can make us feel alive.

📍 Imani Edwards | Conyers, GA
A Tuskegee University student, Imani serves as President of the Golden Voices Concert Choir and is the Founder & Executive Director of Heart & Harmony Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit expanding access to music education. A singer, songwriter, mentor, and content creator, she is also exploring entertainment law and the business behind music.

📍 Ashley Ruiz | New Jersey
Currently studying at Montclair State University, Ashley is building her skills across recording, producing, mixing, and sound design. Her hands-on experience also includes live sound setup and stagehand work at Montclair State, as well as serving as a Music Department Intern at Passaic County Community College.

📍 Faith Bullard | Greensboro, NC
A student at North Carolina A&T State University, Faith’s love for music began at just seven years old while singing in her church’s children’s choir. What started with a love for rhythm, harmony, and the emotion behind music has grown into a passion she continues to pursue today.

📍 Jaden Ruffin | Palmdale, CA
A classically trained pianist with more than 20 years of experience, Jaden recently completed USC’s Music Industry graduate program. Her creative background spans music production, film scoring, creative direction, and filmmaking, with growing interests in sync licensing, music supervision, and live music curation.

📍 Khamya Turner | Concord, NC
A student at UNC Greensboro studying Marketing Information Systems and Data Analytics, Khamya brings both a creative and analytical perspective to her journey.
