A monumental day for our community ✨

I was proud to celebrate the opening of the Ethiopian Community Center in South L.A., a new welcoming space that will provide critical programs for L.A.’s Ethiopian community.

I was honored to help secure $750,000 in funding while I was in Congress to help turn this beautiful vision into a reality.

As our immigrant communities face fear and uncertainty, spaces like this matter more than ever. They provide resources, connection, care, and a sense of belonging.
