💖 2025 Ready to Launch fellows 💖

Our last fellowship training was a success! 🎉 We kicked things off with a speed networking session and were joined by amazing special guests who shared insights about their careers in government, politics, and policy.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming Cinthia Flores as our Lunch & Learn guest speaker.

Thank you all for joining us and supporting our fellows. 💕

In the afternoon, our fellows participated in mock interviews for positions in government offices, preparing them for their future. 🙌

We had so much fun at our recent fellowship training! Our fellows spent the day diving into learning about political campaigns, with guest speaker Danielle Cendejas. Then we hosted our fellowship alumni to share their advice and perspectives with our current fellows! 🌟

This training day was another step forward in preparing our fellows for careers in government and politics, and building their network and support system.

We’re so thrilled to have kicked off our 2025 fellowship!!!

We have 10 amazing fellows with us this fall learning about careers in politics and government. Last weekend, we gathered to start our training sessions together — we covered government 101, prepared our fellows to start internships in elected officials’ offices, discussed tools to build a network, and learned about communications and types of writing in government.

Special shout-out to Rhonda Mitchell from the Office of Council President and Kate Pynoos from the Office of for joining us as guest speakers!

Thank you to everyone who makes this work possible, including all the amazing volunteers who are giving their time as one-on-one mentors to support our participants with advice and experience.

We had such a great time hanging out with our fellowship alumni and our volunteers at the LA Sparks game! 🙌🏀 Staying connected and building community is so important to us — and it’s always inspiring to see how each person continues to grow personally and professionally ❤️.
