FREE, CONFIDENTIAL HELP WITH COVERED CALIFORNIA

We offer artists and art workers across Los Angeles County free, confidential help with Covered California through our partnership with Entertainment Community Fund

This team works exclusively with the arts and entertainment industry. They understand the complexities and challenges of maintaining consistent high quality healthcare. They are here to help with ensuring you have the right plan for your healthcare needs and budget, questions around your healthcare rights, advice on access to specific types of care, and even how to stay on top of the administration of filing income for subsidies.

Grief and Hope is an artist and art worker led initiative delivering direct cash grants as well as community-based resources for folks in the art world experiencing loss from the fires. 🤍🤍🤍 APPLICATION CLOSES TOMORROW, SATURDAY, JANUARY 25 at midnight. Studio Loan is a project to facilitate connections between artists who need studio space to borrow and artists who have studio space to lend. The Studio Loan Bulletin Board is a virtual space where “needs” and “offers” for temporary, short-term Los Angeles studio space can be publicly posted.

A free Licensing Agreement template is available for those that decide to lend/borrow a studio. It is a tool for determining expectations in advance and protecting the interests of both parties, giving peace of mind, and making the process accessible to artists.

OPEN ENROLLMENT IS NOW OPEN FOR 2025 ❤️

Help with Health Insurance (HHI) provides art workers with free, confidential help with Covered California. HHI is a personal service that assists art workers with expert advice on navigating Covered California to assist in selecting the best health insurance plan for your needs and budget.

Counselors, who work exclusively with the arts and entertainment industries, can also advise on the administrative process to ensure eligibility and benefits remain up to date. Open enrollment closes January 31. Make your appointment with a navigator now to keep your plan up to date, choose a new one, register for the first time, or simply learn more about Covered California.

We are able to offer this service thanks to the generosity and collaboration of the Entertainment Community Fund. Register for this free, confidential service via the Entertainment Community Fund portal.
