We move in solidarity.
As settlers from the Philippine diaspora, we recognize the ways in which colonial oppression has influenced our psychological, sociocultural, and integrated tightly into our positionality. Today, and always, we take care to acknowledge this influence and to pass along the care and knowledge to future generations to be able to be empowered in their whole self.

Thank you to for curating this book list. I also wanted to reshare a past image I did in 2020, and our sis who reached out to share that she had created the same years before! Much appreciation for the passage of knowledge sharing and may we continue to learn and grow from each other 🤎

Last Fall, we announced the launch of our Kapwa Network with Hawai’i & San Diego! We JUST announced our Bay Area chapter - we’re excited to share that there is now a Greater Los Angeles chapter!

Therapin*y Kapwa Networks are regionally focused chapters that create space dedicated to supporting Filipina/x/obpraxtitionere, uplifting local wellness resources & services for the community. Other offerings include:
• Client Referrals & Consultation
• Professional Development & Support
• Culturally attuned & responsive network of providers

To get more involved, reach out! We look forward to continuing to uplift our Filipina/x/o community, and creating a liberating Filipina/x/o wellness movement together!
