The Girls Club of Los Angeles (GCLA) is a non-profit agency that meets the needs of underprivileged and at-promise children, youth and their families living in South Los Angeles. GCLA strives to meet the following outcomes for children, youth, and their families:

Access to services that promote physical well-being and

What better way to celebrate summer than with water, laughter, friends, and plenty of smiles! 🌊😎
Our Freedom Schools scholars had a BLAST at Everybody Plays Summer Splash Day at Jesse Owens Park! From racing down, the water slide 💦 to enjoying arts & crafts 🎨, games, water activities, and refreshing snow cones 🍧, this day was all about JOY!
These are the moments that make summer special children playing freely, building friendships, trying new things, and simply getting the opportunity to BE KIDS! 💙
A special thank you to Everybody Plays, Next Level Sports Club & Youth Sports Program, Volunteers of America, and Jesse Owens Park for creating such a fun-filled experience for our scholars.
