We would like to introduce you to a brand new cat charity called “Kitty Pity". Our mission is to help homeless cats in the San Fernando Valley. We were formed to stop the cruel cycle of abandoned cats roaming the streets, starving and breeding a new generation of feral kitties. We feed, sterilize and provide medical attention to homeless cats. The need is great as unprecedented numbers of cats wer
e abandoned during the pandemic. Many died from exposure and starvation; those that survived created many more generations of homeless cats. During kitten season, litters of kittens are discovered and rescued but prepping kittens for adoption is expensive. Some kittens are tiny fragile newborns that require competent fosters. All should be vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, given flea treatments and spay/neuter before placement. In addition the cost of cat food and litter has gone up 30:50% since 2019. Sometimes tame abandoned former pets find their way to a feeding station, and with the help of fosters and rescue organizations they can be vetted and re-homed. Also adult feral’s need to be fed, trapped and spayed or neutered then released (TNR) to safe colonies. The small number of Kitty Pity volunteers make this possible! Wont you help us today with a donation to help our mission? The cats and volunteers are counting on your funds to continue this valuable work. We are currently set up to receive donations through Zelle (QR code below) or checks made out to “Kitty Pity Foundation". We are a 501C and your donations are tax deductible. We thank you for you support.
