[email protected] United Chambers of the San Fernando Valley and Region is a coalition of 32 business organizations including twenty member chambers,
representing over 21,000 businesses that provide over 387,000 jobs. United Chambers is a non-profit mutual benefit corporation whose roots go back to the turn of the century when business first began to spring up in the Valley. United Chambers deals with Valley-wide, County-wide and Regional issues and promotes the San Fernando Valley's overall welfare, progress and economic prosperity. We also advocate on behalf of businesses on a State and Federal level for the good of all business. United Chambers encourages the development of new business ventures in the community, and supports the existing commercial base. Additionally, United Chambers provides a network of communication among chambers, businesses and government to amplify local concerns. A variety of predecessor alliances came together in 1977 to form the current United Chambers. This unity provides a combined source of strength to each Chamber, while preserving each community's autonomy and sense of locality.

Want better answers from people? Stop asking questions they’ve answered 100 times.

Do your research, listen closely, and ask the question that invites a story—not another rehearsed response. The best interviews feel less like a checklist and more like a real conversation.

Experience meaningful conversations at the 20th Annual State of the City Mayors Luncheon, featuring Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and the mayors of Glendale, Burbank, San Fernando, and Calabasas.

People see the microphone. They don’t see the pages of notes, last-minute changes, and the little bit of panic before you pick it up.

That’s the unseen side of leadership: preparing well enough to stay present when the moment arrives.
The conversations continue at the 20th Annual State of the City Mayors Luncheon.

Leadership gave me access to rooms I never expected to enter. But access is useless if you don’t know what to do once you’re in the room.

It is not about being the loudest voice. It is about listening closely, asking meaningful questions, building trust, and using your seat to create opportunities for others.

These conversations continue at the United Chambers of Commerce’s 20th Annual State of the City Mayors Luncheon, featuring Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and the mayors of Glendale, Burbank, San Fernando, and Calabasas.

Interviewing a mayor taught me something I still use when I walk into any important meeting: the best question isn’t the smartest-sounding one. It’s the one that creates an honest, meaningful conversation.

The dialogue continues at the 20th Annual State of the City Mayors Luncheon, featuring Mayor Karen Bass and four San Fernando Valley mayors.
