Many who before January 6th could not see this country for what it is, can see it clearly now. This country was founded on a heritcal Christian doctrine of white supremacist Christian nationalism. My father’s words remain profoundly relevant as millions still face housing instability and economic inequities. The fight for civil rights must include the fight for affordable, equitable housing—a cornerstone of justice and dignity.
