Our Executive Director and Co-Founder Tuzday Townsend sat down with Canvas Rebel to shed light on our cause and the importance of what we do. Tuzday is the backbone of our organization and without her we would be lost. It’s a really good article please read and share it! Black women were 41% more likely to die from breast cancer than White women. Today, that number has declined to 38% more likely. While 38% is still far too high, it represents progress—and progress means lives are being saved. We can’t continue this without you! We need your support so we can continue to show up! Registration for our 5th Annual Walk/Run is now open! Start a team, sponsor a runner or just donate, the link is in our bio!

You can’t pour into others if your cup is empty. 💗

This May, we’re creating space for the caregivers, the strong ones, the ones who keep showing up — even when they’re running low.

Join us for our next Breast Cancer Support Group:
“Pouring From a Full Cup: Caring for Yourself While Caring for Others”

We’ll talk about burnout. Boundaries. Guilt. Rest.
And what it really looks like to take care of yourself while caring for others.

Because you deserve support too.
