Getting that call changes your whole day… sometimes your whole life.
Most people don’t know what to do next, what their rights are, or even where to start.
These pamphlets are just something simple we put together so you’re not going into it blind.
No pressure, no agenda—just real information for real situations.
If you or someone you love ever ends up in that position, at least you’ll have something to lean on.
Take one, share it, keep it close.

Pull up this Saturday.
We’re teaming up with the homies for the Dethfiles merch drop pop up at Garvanza Skatepark. While you’re there grabbing tacos, coffee, or tattoos, we’ll also be holding an open food and clothing donation drop off for unhoused Angelenos.
If you’ve been meaning to clear out your closet or bring some extra supplies, this is a good place to do it.
Everything collected will go directly to people living on the streets of Los Angeles.
Community taking care of community.

Every immigrant story begins with risk—the kind you don’t take lightly. Leaving behind family, language, familiarity, and safety for the chance at something better means stepping into the unknown with no guarantees. It means crossing borders with hope in one hand and fear in the other, trusting that the sacrifice will someday make sense. For many, the journey is marked by loss, danger, and uncertainty, but also by an unshakable belief in possibility. These risks aren’t taken for comfort or convenience—they’re taken for dignity, for survival, and for the future of the people they love. (Credit )

Here’s what’s happening right now in LA and the homelessness crisis:
• Hotline calls far outpace emergency shelter resources during storms — thousands ask for help, but beds run out fast. (LAist)
• A USC study shows shelter systems still struggle to serve people with pets, a key barrier to people seeking help. (CBS News)
• Local leadership and nonprofit trust are under scrutiny after federal fraud charges involving millions in funds meant for homelessness services. (ABC News)
• Community icons like Ms. Shirley — someone who personally showed up for folks every day — are being lost. (BET)
• Violence and risk at encampments affect both residents and surrounding neighborhoods. (CBS News)
These stories aren’t sensational headlines — they’re reflections of how broken systems, limited resources, and human suffering intersect.
Let’s talk solutions that honor people’s dignity and safety. Save, share, and comment what you think needs to change next.

Change isn’t dramatic — it’s consistent.
LA just saw its homeless population shrink again, unsheltered counts fall, and more people move into safer settings.
