Rita taught in Guadalajara, Jalisco for 10 years before migrating to Los Angeles with her husband in 1971. She then worked in LAUSD schools with ESL students for 35 years. Early on, she noticed the need for effective methods to teach Spanish literacy for immersion or dual language programs. Rita incorporated her teaching techniques into her 1st educational book, APRENDIENDO A LEER EN ESPAÑOL. She wants to continue creating meaningful opportunities for students and educators to grow in literacy and cultural appreciation. Rita Flores

With more than 25 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry, Hernandez has built his career working in both sales and marketing, giving him a unique perspective on the challenges businesses face when trying to connect their products with consumers. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Fullerton, and an MBA from the University of Redlands.
Through Marketing versus Sales versus Marketing, Hernandez brings his professional experience into the classroom, business community, and marketplace, challenging readers to look beyond the traditional boundaries between sales and marketing.
