Fin Rose Aborizk is a writer & poet originally from the state of Florida & based in Los Angeles. She is the curator behind Dreams In Hiding Writing, with the publication of her first poetry collection, Leave The Dreaming To The Flowers, in 2017. When she is not working on a manuscript or creating custom poems at events, she is either reading, at a concert, creating something with her hands, or working on anything and everything that excites her.

Love in Print Romance Bookshop
The first romance bookshop in the San Fernando Valley. They provide a safe space to celebrate love and only love. They sell romance fiction books in all sub genres. They also sell bookish merch and accessories like stickers bookmarks, tote bags and kindle accessories.

Santa Ana teen, Noah H. Canales, published his first children’s book based on his third grade story school assignment. His book, THE MISSING NUT, is an adventure story inspired by real-life events, filled with courage, determination, and the power of never giving up. Noah hopes to write more adventure stories and continue to inspire a love for reading and writing among young children.

Teresa Verduzco was born in Mexico and immigrated to the United States at the age of ten. She has been an elementary school teacher for 26 years, a reading interventionist for three years and now serves as a curriculum specialist in reading and math. Her passion for storytelling and writing led to publishing her bestselling books, Sundays with Abuelita and Domingos con Abuelita. Her picture books inspired by her own immigrant stories, describes a day making memories with her Abuelita in her quaint village in Mexico, while waiting to reunite with her mother in the U.S.

We’ll be part of the Mexican Independence Day Parade & Festival, bringing together a vibrant vendor marketplace featuring craft vendors from The Goddess Mercado!

👑 A very special moment: We’ll also be honoring the recipient of The Goddess of East LA Inner-Beauty Pageant & Scholarship—a celebration of resilient local youth who overcome obstacles, maintain strong GPAs, demonstrate community service, and proudly embrace and celebrate their cultural identity. 💫🎓

And yes… The Goddess Mercado will be part of the parade! 🇲🇽👑 Come cheer us on, celebrate with us, and support the incredible vendors and young people who make our community so special.

Ashanti Ramsey (YourFairySquadMother) grew up in the small town of San Dimas, California, where they found their love of writing in fanfiction. From collaborative fanfics in composition books to Tumblr, they have shown their passion for crafting stories that can make someone swoon. Though new to the author scene, Ashanti strives to continually improve as a storyteller and to create fully fleshed-out characters that readers can relate to. When they’re not writing and terraforming worlds in their mind, they are chopping down their never-ending TBR or doing living room karaoke with their family.
