During our United Board Summit, we had the opportunity to visit Las Memorias in Tijuana, México. 🇲🇽🤎 What we witnessed went far beyond HIV prevention and care. It was community in action. A space built with heart, trust, advocacy, and an unwavering commitment to meeting people where they are.

This visit was a powerful reminder that some of the most meaningful change happens when communities come together to care for their own, break stigma, and create access where barriers once existed.

At SOMOSLOUD, we believe our work is stronger when we learn from one another, across cities, communities, and borders. Now more than ever, our voices matter, and so does the way we show up for each other. ✊🏽🌎

Thank you, Las Memorias, for welcoming us and reminding us what community-centered work looks like. ❤️

Sometimes nonprofit drama gets so passionate, it starts feeling like a full-blown novela. 🌹The debates. The personalities. The dramatic entrances. The “we need to talk” meetings.

But at the end of the day, the passion comes from the same place: fighting for a cause we believe in and showing up for our community. ❤️
