Are you headed to Gen Con in Indianapolis this August? Game Pathways is looking for booth workers! We're paying $25/hour and covering badge costs for people who work two full shifts.

We're a nonprofit dedicated to promoting a more diverse, welcoming game industry. Booth workers will serve as greeters for everyone entering Gen Con!

This weekend we held the first-ever Game Pathways Learning Event! Twenty-five high school and college students joined this free event to learn about career opportunities in board games. A diverse group of industry pros volunteered to spend the weekend designing games and share their experiences. The result was inspiring. As one attendee said at the end of the weekend, “You really don’t need anything to start designing games… This is broadening a lot of horizons that I didn’t know existed for me.”

Game Pathways is launching its inaugural Board Game Industry Learning Experience this October 14th and 15th! If you are a highschool Junior or Senior in Los Angeles, CA, and you're interested in a career in tabletop games, apply to the program here: www.gamepathways.org/apply.

Game Pathways is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to introducing students to careers in board games, and increasing representation of all groups in gaming. At this 1.5 day learning experience you’ll talk with members of the tabletop games industry; learn to design your own games; meet and play games with other gamers; and learn how to prepare for a career in games!
