At ASLU, our All-Stars stepped behind the scenes at the training facility to skate on the ice, design custom jerseys, play ball hockey, meet the team behind the team, and discover exciting careers in professional sports.

Young leaders are taking action at ASLU! 🌎✨

Over Days 2 & 3, students identified Sustainable Development Goals they care about, and began creating projects that address real-world challenges. They’ll share their ideas at the end of the week, and we can’t wait to see what they create!

Students also connected with inspiring guest speakers, built career-ready skills, practiced social media safety, and explored new ways to advocate for change.

Their extraordinary generosity will expand life-changing after-school and summer programs for more students in two of our Chapter cities so that even more people have access to safe spaces, caring mentors, and opportunities to thrive.

🎬 Every neighborhood has stories worth telling.

Students from After-School All-Stars Washington DC spent five months interviewing community leaders, learning filmmaking skills, and documenting the history, culture, and spirit of Capitol Hill through their documentary, Echoes of the Neighborhood.

From behind the camera to in front of the screen, these young storytellers discovered the power of using their voices to preserve and celebrate their community.
