For our first food drive of 2021, we decided to set up an Amazon Wish - list with the highest priority items for St. Josephs Center while also accepting donations outside of the Amazon site. We held our first virtual food drive during the week of March 22 - 28, gathering and counting the food as it came. Along with the amazing support of everyone who has been a part of LA Food Drive in the past and all of our new donors, we were able to accumulate a remarkable amount of food, creating a new record for LA Food Drive!

Our first food drive took place on the weekend of May 16th, 2020. We partnered with Good Shepherd Church of Beverly Hills and collected over 1300 items. Good Shepard works closely with two other food banks, Martha's Kitchen and Feed My Poor, and together they were able to use our donations make hot meals for the homeless, and to provide food packages for the food insecure community of West LA.
