Vesping Around — a boutique scooter tour company — has created a special version of their Italian Vespa ride specifically for scooter club members from the U.S. I’ve decided to go on this trip as a rider, and thought some of you might be interested in it as well. Joining me will be Glen, whom some of you may know as the President of the Phoenix Scooter Club in Arizona, and some of his club members. I helped him and the Phoenix Scooter Club organize the AmeriVespa Rally in Flagstaff in 2023, and it will be great to ride again alongside familiar faces and friends.

In speaking with the owner of Vesping Around, Mauro Clerici, we asked him to customize a scooter adventure for us and he has created an itinerary through Puglia / Salento in southern Italy from July 3–7, 2026. It will feature beautiful coastal roads (you all know I love riding by the beach!), historic towns, and authentic local dining. Plus, the package is all inclusive! It includes a Vespa (with a helmet and Travel Pack), the hotel, all of your meals, shuttle from the airport or train station, fully planned scenic rides and experiences, a commemorative souvenir scooter legshield banner, and support from local Italian guides. Jewels were stolen from The Lourve museum in Paris a few days ago. The thieves used two Yamaha 'TMax' scooters during the Louvre theft. These scooters are known for their powerful 560cc engines, which aided the robbers in their quick escape after the heist. Dang TMaxes….

Several years ago, Jerry Miller came to me to design a new logo for his band, THE UNTOUCHABLES. He was meticulous on what he wanted: old school microphone w/ stand, the pose, the suit, hat, Doc Martins, the clenched fist and the askew type. We went a few rounds and he finally gave the thumbs up to this design, saying it was "perfect". Some of you may have seen it used the last few years on the band's promo stuff and I couldn't have been prouder. I was glad to help him and the band out. Rest In Peace, Jerry.
