Meet the 2026 Vice Co-Chairs of the Women in Architecture Los Angeles Committee!
We’re thrilled to welcome Emily Dinnerman, Assoc. AIA, and Jennifer Doublet, AIA as they support the Committee in developing meaningful programming, opportunities, and connections throughout the year.
Emily Dinnerman is an architectural designer and founder based in Los Angeles, where she founded and leads Substrata with a focus on small-lot housing, ADUs, and adaptive reuse. Her work is rooted in collaboration, practical problem-solving, and helping clients and communities navigate the realities of building with clarity and care. As Vice Chair of AIA Women in Architecture in 2026, Emily is dedicated to strengthening community through mentorship, peer support, and open dialogue. She is especially invested in creating inclusive pathways for emerging professionals, supporting women navigating licensure and leadership, and building spaces where shared knowledge, lived experience, and collective advocacy can thrive.
