What a gift it was to gather with Art + Practice and all of you for the closing of “Kinship & Community.” 💛

Over the evening, we listened, reflected, and learned from one another — an open conversation shaped by everyone in the room, inspired by Connections. Thank you for showing up with open hearts and for helping us think about the communities we inherit and the ones we build. Until next time.💫

Calibrate had the privilege of traveling to Sacramento Country Day School to introduce Connections to the entire faculty and staff ❤️

As part of a school-wide initiative, Sacramento Country Day School is moving forward with student-centered Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). Faculty and staff got to experience Connections for the first time, both to learn about the program and to build connection as a team.

A few anonymous reflections from the room:

“Connections requires one to let go of resistance and judgment and embrace vulnerability, which leads to the true essence of connecting.”

“Connections: vulnerability, seeing people’s personal insights, learn for selves, learn to serve others, feeling safe, being seen.” ✨

Thank you Sacramento Country Day School for welcoming us!

Check out the highlights from The Connections Series with Sweet Geeks Foundation, who brought together 14 Executive & Program Directors to decompress and connect ahead of the new school year. Honored to be part of it! 🙌

We were honored to support Sweet Geeks Foundation’s vision for the Connections Series — bringing together 14 Executive & Program Directors to decompress, connect, and build community before the new school year. 🎉

These are the people who work tirelessly to channel resources into under-resourced communities every single day. Creating space for them to be held, seen, and supported? That’s the work we believe in.

Thank you Bresee Foundation for the warm welcome and to every leader who showed up with an open heart. 🩵

To all our participating nonprofits: DM us, and we’ll tag/follow you!

We’re doing something different on September 26. 🪑✨

This isn’t your typical fundraiser. It starts with 30 chairs in a garden — no performance, no pitch, just a real moment to connect. Then we take the party next door for food, drinks, music trivia, and good people who actually showed up for something meaningful.

$35 gets you all of it. Food. Drinks. Music. Community. In this economy? That’s a yes.

Come sit in the circle. Stay for the vibes. And if you leave feeling inspired, there’ll be ways to do more.

📍 Leimert Park
📅 9/26
🎟️ $35

RSVP via the link in our bio — choose your experience:
→ Connections only (there are 30 chairs available, reserve your spot early!)
→ Connections + Vibe.Give
→ Vibe.Give only

See you in the circle. 🪑🔥
