This month, we’re highlighting & celebrating a Pro Member most of you already know, Precious Perez!! 🎉
Precious, also known as La Reggaetonera Ciega, is a blind Puerto Rican artist, author, actress, educator, and disability advocate who uses her art and platform to uplift and empower her communities. She also serves as Co-Chair of RAMPD’s Engagement Committee.
From headlining the Disability Unite Festival in Central Park to delivering a keynote performance at the American Council of the Blind National Convention, Precious continues to make her mark across music, arts, and disability advocacy.
Her accomplishments this year include being named the 2026 Best Female Latin Artist by the Kentucky Latin Music Awards. She was also mentored by Ivy Queen through the Latin GRAMMY Foundation’s Leading Ladies mentorship program in 2025.
Beyond music, Precious is a cast member in the American Printing House for the Blind’s upcoming Dot Experience museum, opening in October. Her limited-edition Melanin Queen fragrance is also available through American Perfumer.
As we recognize Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re proud to spotlight a Puerto Rican artist whose creativity, advocacy, and leadership continue to open doors and amplify community. Precious has been working with RAMPD’s forward-leading execs for years now and we are delighted to celebrate her!!
