100 Acre Partnership at Taylor Yard - Paseo del Rio

100 Acre Partnership at Taylor Yard - Paseo del Rio This page will provide the latest project updates and opportunities to become involved.

The 100-Acre Partnership at Taylor Yard - Paseo del Rio is a commitment between The City of LA, the California Department of Parks and Recreation, and the MRCA. The 100 Acre Partnership’s first project is Paseo del Río, a one-mile promenade with public spaces along the LA River in the Cypress Park and Glassell Park neighborhoods. The eight-acre project will extend along the G2 and G1 (Bowtie) parcels at Taylor Yard, to create one mile of riverfront public access.

“I thought how lovely and how strange a river is. A river is a river, always there, and yet the water flowing through it is never the same water and is never still. It’s always changing and is always on the move. And over time the river itself changes too.”

Today marks the beginning of LA Climate Week, which connects climate work happening throughout the year across the Los Angeles region into a shared week of learning, collaboration, and possibility.

LA Climate Week brings visibility and coordination to the climate leadership already underway across Los Angeles. Rather than hosting a single centralized conference, it connects distributed events and experiences across the region into a shared week of exchange and momentum.

You can find the full list of affiliated events at www.laclimateweek.com and don’t forget to join us this Saturday, April 11, from noon to 5 p.m for the River Crawl.
