Often times I strictly only post my Special needs interactions with my special needs family /clients in my stories. Why becuz I never wanted to seem like I was trying to obtain any type of status or financial gain by exploiting my friends. But with all this attention on me I owe it to them and to yall help spread awareness for the mentally challenged and disabled. People who are often times judged, forgotten about, teased or bullied in their everyday life since birth just becuz they’re different. So today isn’t about the Meezy Killer narrative, it’s about spreading love and awareness. If you have or know any one is who is physically or mentally challenged , like , share , repost, spread the love.

"Sometimes it leads to frustration for both of us simply because he can’t always tell me exactly what he wants to eat or what activity he wants to do.

So I decided to make visual communication boards with velcro pictures of his favorite foods and activities so he can point to them or bring them to us when he wants something.

A simple change, but something that’s already helping make communication a little easier for him. 💙

Caregivers & advocates — please pay attention to what’s happening. There are ongoing conversations suggesting family members should not be paid caregivers.

Many of us have sacrificed careers, finances, and our own well-being to care for our loved ones full-time. Caregiving is 24/7, and without financial support, families are being pushed into crisis.

This is an SOS to our community. Contact your city, county, state, and federal representatives. Attend meetings. Share your story. Let your voice be heard. We need support, not judgement.

Caregivers matter. Our loved ones matter. ❤️
