Asia Cabello | NYC/NJ Influencer - Today hit us differently 🥹🥲

As I watched Ariah walk across that stage at her 4th-grade moving up ceremony, I couldn’t help but think back to her kindergarten graduation.

Back then, she was completely nonverbal. She struggled with eloping, had little to no eye contact, needed constant redirection, and often communicated through behaviors instead of words. There were days when the future felt uncertain, and milestones like this seemed so far away.

But today?

Today, she walked onto that stage independently.

Today, she stood confidently in front of an audience.

Today, she read her line during the performance all by herself.

And today, this mama and dad cried tears of pride.

Progress doesn’t always happen overnight. Sometimes it comes after years of therapy, patience, advocacy, setbacks, and celebrating the smallest victories. But moments like this remind me that every single step forward matters.

To some, it may have just been a school ceremony. To us, it was a reminder of how far she’s come and all that she’s capable of achieving.

Ariah, you continue to amaze me. Your journey has taught me more about strength, perseverance, and resilience than I could have ever imagined. I am so incredibly proud of you and honored to be your mom.
