At just 20 years old, Eldon is navigating adulthood while also caring for his uncle, who raised him after the loss of both of his parents. Now, they are facing the possibility of losing the home where Eldon grew up.

This home is more than a house! It’s a place filled with memories, stability, and the foundation of their future.

Everyone say hello to Miloo!

Miloo has been a valued member of the Jay Nolan Community for over 30 years! In January, he reached an exciting milestone, moving into his forever apartment!🎉

Since moving in, Miloo has appeared more relaxed, confident, and at peace. Supported by a dedicated team that has been alongside him for many years, he leads the way each day by choosing what he wants to do and accomplish.

A true social butterfly, Miloo loves being out in the community, connecting with others, and enjoying music 🎶 especially Spanish music! Fluent in Farsi, English, and Spanish, he brings warmth and joy everywhere he goes.

Our mission is creating opportunities for people to live the lives they choose, in homes they love, surrounded by their community. We’re honored to be part of Miloo’s journey. 🏡✨

Home is more than just a place to live. It’s a space to feel comfortable, independent, and just be yourself!!🏡

Recently, our CEO Edward Amey went to visit a few of our neighbors who are part of our Supported Living Services program to see firsthand how each person has made their house a home of their own. From Miloo proudly showing off the photos and personal touches he carefully picked out for his home, to welcoming Jacob with a basket full of goodies as he settles into his new space, these moments are what community is all about.✨

At Jay Nolan, our mission is rooted in inclusion. We believe in removing labels and titles and instead focusing on what truly matters — being neighbors, building relationships, and creating a community where everyone belongs. 🫂
