🦋 The East Coast CoachArt kids had a blast on Saturday at the New York Botanical Garden. We explored Moomin’s Adventure world, watered the edible plant garden, sketched at the reflection pond, 🌳🏠climbed a tree house and filled out 📓custom nature journals that Coach Kristi made for us with love and care! 💙 Many fun memories were made along with connecting with our staff, volunteers and CoachArt families in-person.

Thank you Coach Jess for leading us in our Paint Club where we painted everything from a 🐝 busy bee on a coneflower to a sun-drenched lemon tree on the Amalfi Coast. 🍋

Our artists got the chance to hone their skills and express their creativity using the bold, versatile medium of acrylics.

🎸✨ This club struck all the right chords. Thanks to Coach Victor's guidance our students wrote and performed their own original songs!

🎵 One parent shared, "It's great to know she had the courage to perform her song for the class... Ella really opened up in this class, and in such a short time, we feel she's learned so much."

✨ Big thanks to our donors as well! Because of you we were able to raffle new guitar stands. We hope they inspire even more practice and performances for those who won!

🧶🐸 Sew hoppy for you, Ruth!

From tiny amigurumi to cozy blankets 💙, costumes, and cuddly bunnies 🐰, Ruth has been growing stitch by stitch, with Coach Shalini by her side through every new challenge.

Hearing a proud parent say, “Ruth’s skills have LEVELED UP with Coach Shalini,” made our hearts melt. Watching a child discover what they can create with a caring coach who nurtures their skills and believes in them is the sweetest kind of magic. 💛🥹

🍄 Nature was our greatest inspiration 🌿✨

From buzzing bees 🐝 to curious frogs 🐸 and spotted ladybugs 🐞, our Nature Blend Club was full of colorful creations and outdoor-inspired fun. With Coach Kristin's blending tips and a little artist tape magic, every student brought vibrant masterpieces to life and left feeling like a true artist. 💛

This is what Team Possible looks like. 💪✨ Spoiler: it's not one story. It's many. All fueled by the same wild idea: everyone can do something, and something is enough.

🧵 One Champion is braiding 100 friendship bracelets alongside their daughters.

📚 Another is reading 100 books this year, one book down = one reason to donate.

✍️ Someone's else is out here dream journaling daily, filling pages one entry at a time (dear diary: we're raising money).

In our 🎨🔬 Anatomy Club medical science came to life through the voices of the very kids living it every day.

Each week, we explored a different system of the body through guided drawings, growing a library of medical illustrations one class at a time. Guest Student Speakers volunteered to share the science behind their diagnosis and what it's really like to live with it.

One student used a slide deck she prepared herself, covering how the pancreas and islets of Langerhans function and what changes in the body with Type 1 Diabetes. Another brought in a children's book her mother wrote about their journey with Sickle Cell Disease. And on the final day, two students discovered they they'd both undergone bone marrow transplants and connected over something only the other could truly understand.
