Christmas in July just got an upgrade!🎄

We just doubled our investment to $1,000 per participant and extended the deadline to apply till July 21.

This is a free 6-month program for survivor entrepreneurs with product-based businesses. At the heart of it is a 12-week accelerator with expert-led sessions in marketing, brand story, and strategy. Alongside that you get one-on-one trauma-informed business and personal coaching, $1,000 in direct product purchases from your shop, professional product photography you keep, your own featured day in our December 12 Days of Christmas campaign, and a January debrief to review your campaign data and learn how to pivot for next time.

All of it at no cost to you!

For survivors of trafficking or gender-based violence with a product for sale and a website. US-based. 18 or older.

Applications close July 21 and take 5 minutes.

Last month, we had the pleasure of joining for their Rise and Renew Yoga & Sound Bath event.

Last year, Fired Up Foundation awarded us a grant after federal funding changes impacted our work. That support allowed us to invest $1,200 directly into survivor-led businesses through our 12 Days of Christmas campaign. The products featured in this video are just some of the beautiful results of that investment.

We loved connecting with the community, sharing about Free Brands, and spotlighting survivor-led businesses that deserve to be seen, celebrated, and supported.

Whatever you can offer this week, it matters. Money, presence, a check-in with a Muslim friend or neighbor, sharing these resources. The community is going to be carrying this for a long time, and the people closest to it shouldn’t have to do the work of asking for support.

It’s officially been a month since Pilates at Flora and
we’re still feeling the impact.

New connections made. Conversations that opened doors. Survivors finding each other in ways we didn’t expect. That’s what happens when community shows up.

Thank you to everyone who made space for our mission that day. To the folx who listened, learned, and leaned in. To the vendors who shared the energy with us. To and for holding the vision. You all reminded us what’s possible when survivors are seen beyond survival.

We featured 7 survivor-led businesses, and every purchase went directly into their hands. If you missed the event, they’re still in our directory waiting to be supported. 🩵

This is what it looks like when survivors pour into other survivors.

Free Brands received a grant from , a survivor-led nonprofit born out of the work of & Eck LLP.

When we talk about survivor-led economies, this is what we mean. Survivors seeing each other as leaders, then moving resources to back that belief.

Both are in the directory with us, because we’re stronger together. This is the space where you can find us, support us, and witness what’s being built. 🩵
