Community Solutions works to create a lasting end to homelessness that leaves no one behind. They work toward an equitable society where homelessness is never inevitable, inescapable, or a way of life. They are active in more than 80 cities helping to create functional zero homelessness. This is a reality in cities around the country. It's time we bring these solutions to LA.

Los Angeles CAN be a city that has enough housing for all Angelenos while maintaining and improving its neighborhoods. It IS possible!

Community Solutions works to create a lasting end to homelessness that leaves no one behind.
With rigor and data-driven solutions, Community Solutions are working with communities to:
- prevent inflow into homelessness from happening in the first place;
- build and sustain homeless response systems that can continuously end, rather than manage, homelessness for populations across a geography; and
- quickly deliver affordable housing that can close the housing gap.

LA CAN be an affordable city for all Angelenos. It's time to take it to the city and show them that this is not sustainable. Only 20% of Angelenos vote in local elections.

If we turn out and vote in the upcoming 2022 election, we take the first steps to show local leaders that we are paying attention, and we won't stand for the rent being too high! Check your voter registration status at the link below:

The Housing Innovation Collaborative exists to bring people and ideas together to accelerate the production of lower-cost, higher-quality housing. The only way we can achieve the efficiency and scale we need to overcome this housing crisis and build a better home for all of us is by coming together to learn from and support one another in the journey of incubating, showcasing, and implementing our best new housing solutions.

LA deserves leaders who will fight for everyone here. We should demand leaders who will bring about REAL change to LA.

Contrary to what local electeds or the media would like us to believe, Los Angeles DOES have the resources needed to alleviate the homelessness crisis. It's time to allocate the money and resources the city has already set aside, properly. So many more people could be housed this holiday season, instead of being on the cold Los Angeles streets. Let's make next year's winter much warmer for many more people.
One of the first ways to do this is to vote in citywide elections. Only 20% of Angelenos voted in the last election. We drastically need to improve that ratio in this upcoming 2022 election, so we can start to solve the crises facing LA. Tap the link in below to check your voter registration status, and sign up with us to learn how we can improve voter turnout in Los Angeles!

It’s so important to listen to the youth! They are the future of Los Angeles! Daniel Artega, member of United Parents and Students has the right idea. Many Angelenos do NOT understand how much power their voice holds, and how important it is to get involved in local issues early on.
When we register to vote, we’re usually not thinking about all of the local ordinances and candidates we get to vote for, but that’s actually the most powerful part of voting! Our local vote holds so much more weight for local offices and measures, and it's the easiest way to start getting involved and informed about local issues.

Don't let local leaders tell you that it's not possible to alleviate homelessness, because it is. There are viable solutions waiting to be tapped into, it's simply a matter of getting involved and demanding solutions from our city leaders. If they won't do it, then we can elect people who will.
