For Week 6 of The Future Innovators Program (FIP), our students stepped into the world of business finance

Through the “Eazy Profit Game,” they worked in teams to learn how a real business income statement works—making decisions, tracking profits, and understanding how money flows in a business.

The room was filled with energy, teamwork, and a little friendly competition. The winning team will be taking home a JBL Clip 5.

Learning business should be hands-on, engaging, and real—and that’s exactly what we’re building.

For Week-5 of the Future Innovators Program, we also taught students how to learn more about their ideas by asking questions and doing research.

First, we explained primary and secondary research in a simple way.
Primary research is when you go out and ask people questions yourself, like talking to customers or doing interviews.
Secondary research is when you learn from things that already exist, like reading articles, watching videos, or looking at reports online.
Both are important because they help students understand the problem better and make smarter decisions.

Next, we focused on continuing to improve their solutions. Students learned that their first idea doesn’t have to be perfect. They should keep making changes, testing their ideas, and making them better over time.

Finally, we did a business interview exercise. Students practiced asking questions like real business owners. They learned how to listen carefully and understand what people actually need, instead of just guessing. This helped them build ideas that truly solve problems.

Overall, these activities helped students become better thinkers, better listeners, and more confident in building their own ideas.

When Dr. Andridia Mapson’s son was refused a handshake after an ice hockey match, it wasn’t just poor sportsmanship—it was a moment that exposed the deeper issue of racism in sports. Instead of staying silent, she turned that experience into purpose.

That moment sparked the creation of Elevate by Mapson—a media and publishing company dedicated to using storytelling as a force for change, tackling critical sociopolitical issues and amplifying unheard voices.

Her determination and visionary leadership led her to win the SCBB Pitch Competition 2025, proving that powerful ideas, when backed by courage, can truly make an impact.

Entrepreneurs like Dr. Mapson remind us that innovation isn’t just about business—it’s about building a better, more inclusive community.
🚀 The SCBB 2026 Pitch Competition is about to begin!

Get ready for groundbreaking ideas, fearless entrepreneurs, and powerful stories that are set to shape the future of our community.

Stay tuned—this is where innovation meets impact.

Future Innovators in Action!⚡✨

This week in our Future Innovators Program, students explored the power of empathy mapping — a critical skill used by entrepreneurs, designers, and business leaders to truly understand the people they serve.

Students learned that great ideas start with understanding your customer or community member. Through the empathy map exercise, they asked important questions like:

• What is the customer seeing?
• What are they hearing around them?
• What are they saying?
• What are they thinking and feeling?
• What experiences might they even be smelling or sensing in their environment?

By stepping into someone else’s shoes, our students learned how empathy helps identify real problems and create meaningful solutions.

Developing empathy is more than just a classroom exercise — it’s a powerful leadership skill that opens doors in the workforce, strengthens teamwork, and prepares future leaders for opportunities in business, management,

Future Innovators Program 2026- Week - 3
Highlights from "The School Resource Fair"🚀💥

The third week of the Future Innovators Program 2026 started with an insightful visit at the" School Resource Fair" at the Diego Rivera Learning Complex on 5th March.🥳

It was a great opportunity to connect with young bright minds who were interested in joining the FIP Program to learn about Leadership, Entrepreneurship and how to be an upstanding member of the community.

We also had insightful conversation with the teachers and community members regarding the program and how it can shape the minds of students.

The excitement was equal from the students as well as the teachers and that's is why we do what we do.
We are very excited to have these students join Future Innovators Program and learn all the skils and lessons we are offering.

Stay tuned to know more! We are very grateful for your support in what we do and why we do it.💥🚀
