🩷 GOLI NEEDS US TODAY 🩷
Our sweet Goli has already been through more than any little dog should ever have to endure. After everything she survived in Mexico, her first surgery was successful and she healed so beautifully. We truly thought the hardest part was finally behind her.
Unfortunately, we just learned that Goli has developed an inguinal tear (inguinal hernia) and needs another surgery to repair it. Because of its location, this is a more complicated repair than the simple hernia we initially thought we were dealing with.
We are hoping to get Goli into surgery TOMORROW, but we need to raise $600 TODAY to make that happen. 🙏🏼😭
Our vet has also prepared us for the possibility that Goli may need surgical mesh to properly repair the area. We are desperately hoping that isn’t the case, because if mesh is required, she may need to be referred to a specialty hospital — and the cost would be significantly more than the $600 we are currently trying to raise. We simply are not financially prepared for that right now.
For now, we’re taking this one step at a time and praying her vet can repair it without needing that additional intervention. 🤞🏼
Despite everything, Goli is BLOSSOMING. 🥹🤍 Over the last two months with her wonderful foster family, she has come out of her shell more and more. She LOVES other dogs, loves playing tag, and is finally learning what it feels like to simply be a happy little dog.
She has SO much life left to live, and she has come way too far for us to stop now.
Please help us raise $600 TODAY so we can hopefully move forward with Goli’s surgery tomorrow. Whether it’s $5, $10, $20 or simply sharing her story, we need our village behind this little girl today.
We just want Goli healthy, healed, and finally able to put all of this behind her so she can find the forever home she so deserves🙏🏼💫
