MARCH TO END FUR ⏺ SEPTEMBER 26 ⏺ MILAN

On fur farms across Europe and around the world, millions of minks, foxes, and chinchillas are living in tiny wire cages waiting to be gassed or electrocuted for a fur trim. Their suffering ends when fur ends. And fur ends when there is no one left willing to stand behind it.

New York banned fur from its runways after protests. London banned it. Milan is one of the last two major fashion weeks still allowing fur. It has already lost 5 sponsors due to pressure. And it is closer to falling than it has ever been. This is the next step to beat fur. Not someday. This September.

MARCH TO END FUR: Friday, September 26: activists from across Europe will be marching through Milan, in the middle of fashion week, with one demand: a fur-free policy at Milan Fashion Week.

We need you there.

WEEK OF ACTION: September 22–27: six days of coordinated actions across Milan, during the fashion week itself.

Generations of activists have fought for this moment and we are the ones who finally get to put an end to the cruel fur trade.

RECAP OF CAFT’S FERAL SUMMER TOUR 2026!

In June, CAFT joined forces with our partner groups in London, Milan, and Paris to put maximum pressure on Milan Fashion Week to finally BAN fur. Many thanks to: Animal Freedom Network, Fur Free UK, RAGE Activism, Animal Defense League Italia, Abolish Fur Worldwide, Les Autres Animaux, and Collectif Liberation Totale.

In London, combined with actions and support from other cities around the globe, together we made Milan Fashion Week lose its fifth sponsor.

In Italy, we disrupted and protested Milan Fashion Week, reminding attendees and affiliates of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) that we are fed up with their inaction.

In Paris, notorious animals abusers LVMH were protested AND CNMI members were found and confronted at events. We asked Sara Sozzani in front of an audience why CNMI continues to allow fur. Of course, she had no good response.

The animals on fur farms are endlessly tormented. They get no peace and rest, and neither will those who continue to support fur.

If you don’t expose and call out the people in power who are enabling the breeding and killing of millions of animals for fur, then nothing will change.

Animals on fur farms are depending on YOU.

LUTECH GROUP & APAX PARTNERS DROP MILAN FASHION WEEK!

In just 6 days and 9 protests across 6 cities in the United States, United Kingdom, and Germany, Lutech Group, the latest sponsor of Milan Fashion Week, has waved the white flag.

The Milan-based tech firm, which only recently partnered with the controversial fashion event to provide technological support, becomes the FIFTH sponsor to cut ties under pressure from the anti-fur movement.

Over those 6 days, activists protested the offices of Apax Partners, the private equity firm that owns Lutech, in London, NYC, and Munich. Apax affiliates in London, Chicago, and North Carolina were also targeted.

Peaceful protesters, speaking up for the millions of animals slaughtered every year by the fur industry for the luxury fashion paraded at Milan Fashion Week, were met with violence. In London, activists were dragged out by their hair at the Apax offices. In NYC, Apax security threatened to knock activists’ teeth out.

And yet they were undeterred.

THE WEEK OF ACTION AGAINST MILAN FASHION WEEK BEGINS JUNE 19.

Acqua Fiuggi was the fourth sponsor to cut ties with Milan Fashion Week and Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI)…but they won’t be the last! Activists across North America, Europe, and Asia showed up at the offices, homes, and events of all the affiliates of Acqua Fiuggi.

Until Milan Fashion Week officially bans fur, any sponsor or entity associated with them will face protests.

NEW MFW SPONSOR: LUTECH & APAX PARTNERS!

The latest company foolish enough to partner with Milan Fashion Week is Lutech Group. It didn’t learn from Wella, DHL, Visa, or Acqua Fiuggi/LMDV Capital.

Well, you know what that means…

This Milan-based tech company, owned by private equity firm Apax Partners, just made both of them the center of attention for the anti-fur movement.

From this day forward, everyone associated with Lutech Group and Apax Partners will be protested for continuing to support Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) and the bloody fur industry.

Visit abolishfur.org/lutech-apax to send an email to executives at Lutech and Apax asking them to cut ties with Milan Fashion Week until it announces an official fur-free policy.

The CAFT Feral Summer Tour hits Paris this month (June 23–25), right in the middle of the menswear shows, so what better time to remind Paris Fashion Week that we’re keeping an eye on them.

While activists around the globe lay siege to Paris’s buddy, Milan Fashion Week, for clinging to fur on the runway, it’s only a matter of time before our attention turns to Paris… unless they do the right thing and cut ties with the bloody fur trade first.

Send an email and drop a comment to Morand Pascal, President of PFW, and to the rest of the organizers of Paris Fashion Week. Let them know fur is unacceptable, and it’s time to take a stand and get in line with the rest of the fashion industry.
