Join us for the Molly Steinsapir Foundation’s Inaugural Benefit, a family-friendly evening of community, creativity, music, and meaningful impact in support of the Foundation’s work. The event will take place on October 18 from 4-8 pm at Kehillat Israel in Pacific Palisades.

Gather with family and friends for special performances, delicious food, wine and cocktails, a Creativity Corner for younger guests, and silent and live auctions, all while helping Team Molly continue to make a difference in the lives of children and families.

Can't Make It But Want To Show Your Support?
You also purchase a "Pay It Forward" ticket for a community member who might not otherwise be able to attend. Many are still struggling after the fires and would greatly appreciate it. Requests for these tickets are already coming in.
Donate an item, gift certificate, or experience to our silent and live auction. It an be as simple as a bottle of wine. If you're a skilled organizer, consider offering a few hours of your time to help someone get organized (much needed in the Palisades as families are returning home). Donate babysitting or pet-sitting/walking. If you own a vacation home, a stay during the off-season would be amazing. Cater a meal, donate artwork you made or a photography session; the possibilities are truly endless. Next time you see your personal trainer, hair stylist or other personal service provider, ask if he or she would consider donating a gift certificate. Our event offers great exposure and marketing.

We love that this event provides the opportunity to joyfully gather in Pacific Palisades. It's an occasion to celebrate how far we've come and our commitment to keep working until everyone who wants to return is home. To celebrate our local business owners, we're offering them a free ticket with any donation to our auction.
Our Impact & Accomplishments
Guided by Molly’s caring spirit, the Foundation brings together a coalition of like-minded doers to serve those in need while empowering young people to improve their communities. Our work is primarily done by volunteers.
Youth Board & Civic Responsibility
The Youth Board provides local high school students with meaningful opportunities to engage in service, leadership, and civic responsibility. Civic education is an important part of the program. Throughout the year, Board members learn what it means to be informed and engaged citizens through hands-on service, non-partisan conversations with local leaders, and opportunities to explore community issues, public service, and the many ways they can contribute to positive change.
Our Impact
• Fire recovery: Provided new furniture and other home essentials to more than 180 Palisades and Eaton fire survivor families; served hundreds through a free donation room with clothing, home goods, personal care items, and books; opened our space to displaced groups working on recovery; partnered on a Red Cross blood drive and other community-building efforts; hosts Bet Tzedek free legal aid clinics.
• Children and families: Operate an annual backpack and school supplies drive benefiting more than 1,000 children in need; provide new clothing, shoes, and essentials for more than 500 children attending Camp Harmony; and support Marquez Charter Elementary through tens of thousands of dollars in donations, a buddy bench, holiday surprises, and support for teachers and staff after the Palisades fire.
• Housing transitions: Created welcome-home bags for more than 300 Angelenos moving from homelessness into housing, with volunteers assembling gift cards, new blankets, towels, full-size toiletries, clothing, and other essentials.
• Foster youth: Serve foster youth through our partnership with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), including a day at the zoo, back-to-school supplies, and holiday gifts.
• Youth-led storytelling: Supported Palisades Collective, a storytelling and art initiative founded by Youth Board member Luca Dal Bello. Youth Board members led tours, interviewed fire survivors to help preserve their stories, and guided local elementary students through hands-on projects.
• Civic engagement: Work with local organizations to create non-partisan opportunities for community members to meet electoral candidates and local leaders and learn more about issues affecting Los Angeles communities.
Stewardship
Tax-deductible donations go directly to improving lives and our community. We maintain low overhead: our office space is generously sponsored by CBRE Group, and remaining expenses are covered by Molly’s family. We act as stewards of every dollar entrusted to us, stretching our resources to accomplish as much good for as many people as possible. We lead with love.
