📢 Matilda sagt NEIN zu Gewalt gegen Frauen und Mädchen!

Nach aktuellen Daten des Bundeskriminalamtes ist die Zahl der weiblichen Opfer von häuslicher Gewalt weiterhin erschreckend hoch. Bei uns in Ostfriesland sind die Zahlen ebenfalls alarmierend. Zeit für uns als ZONTA Club Leer Ostfriesland, ein Zeichen zu setzen!

Am 25. November, dem Tag gegen Gewalt an Frauen, und den folgenden 16 Aktionstagen bis zum 10. Dezember möchten wir gemeinsam mit vielen anderen auf dieses Thema aufmerksam machen, eine klare Haltung einnehmen und unsere Solidarität mit den Betroffenen zeigen. Dies tun wir mit verschiedenen Aktionen. Dabei hilft uns Matilda!

📣📣📣The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that kicks off today 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.

Zonta Club of Hervey Bay joins the international community as we stand together and . Let our voices be heard in every corner of the world. Let's put an end to violence that's causing harm to millions of women and girls in every country and culture!!

Girls deserve to live in safety and with dignity, free from honor and gender-based violence. Together, we must ensure that every woman and girl is empowered to live her life without fear of violence or control.

These incidents highlight the vital need for the AHA Foundation to continue to train professionals to combat honor violence and offering support to individuals escaping honor-based violence and forced marriages.
