Reading in the NICU is incredibly important, as it not only provides comfort and connection for babies and their families but also supports early language development. Sharing stories can soothe infants and create cherished bonding moments between parents and their little ones. Additionally, reading gives parents a meaningful activity to engage in when they may feel helpless, allowing them to actively participate in their baby's care. To enhance this experience, we are hosting a baby book drive to gather new books for our NICU families. Thank you 🙏🏽for giving me the confidence to do this, to conquer this journey. 💪🏽For letting me be sad. For making me laugh. For seeing the beauty. 💞For never lying to me. For reminding me to take a break and eat something. For teaching me how to take care of my medically complicated baby.

On behalf of all the families whose lives you’ve touched, we want to extend our deepest gratitude for your exceptional care and dedication in the NICU. Your unwavering commitment to our little ones during their most vulnerable moments is truly inspiring.

As Mother's Day approaches, our community is rallying together to support mothers spending time in the NICU with their newborns. With the goal of providing comfort and encouragement during this challenging time, we're organizing a fundraising campaign to assemble special gift baskets filled with thoughtful items. From soothing lotions and teas, to heartfelt card, each basket will be a gesture of love and solidarity.
