Reading in the NICU is incredibly important, as it not only provides comfort and connection for babies and their families but also supports early language development. Sharing stories can soothe infants and create cherished bonding moments between parents and their little ones. Additionally, reading gives parents a meaningful activity to engage in when they may feel helpless, allowing them to actively participate in their baby's care.
