Hello Fans! It's been a while but hope everyone is doing well.

This post is with regards to an event that the Japan House is hosting.

If you're interested in the landscape that surrounds Japanese and Japanese American talent, Japan House will be hosting an event which will be their 3rd D.E.I (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) Program series.

There will be Japanese and Japanese American actors, directors, producers, and casting directors so it should be cool event.

Today’s trailer is for “189”, directed by Ikuo Kamon!
189 is a phone number to call when a child needs to be saved from an abusive situation. Children and adults can call 189, where they will be connected with the nearest child consultation center.
Taiga Sakamoto (Yuma Nakayama) works as a rookie child welfare officer. A girl that he worked with is being sent back to her mother. The girl was abused by her mother and stayed at a shelter. The next day, she loses her life. Taiga Sakamoto thinks about quitting his job. At this time, he receives a phone call from the hospital. A doctor calls him and tells him that a 6 year old girl's wounds look like they were caused by physical abuse. The abuser is assumed to be her father, but the girl's father denies any wrongdoing. Taiga Sakamoto and Attorney Shion Akiba (Natsuna Watanabe) try to prove that the girl was abused by her father.

Set in the 19th century, "Moeyo Ken" follows the life of Toshizo Hijikata (Junichi Okada). He was the vice-commander of the Shinsengumi and fought against the Meiji Restoration.

Satsuki's (Nana Komatsu) lover Hitoshi (Hio Miyazawa) dies suddenly. She is unable to get over his death and is mired in deep sadness.

Today’s trailer is for “Masquerade Night”, the sequel to 2019’s “Masquerade Hotel”, directed by Masayuki Suzuki, based on the novel by Keigo Higashino, and starring the one and only Takuya Kimura!
An anonymous letter is delivered to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. The letter states that a criminal of a murder case will appear at the countdown party Masquerade Night that will be held at Hotel Cortesia Tokyo.
Detective Kosuke Nitta (Takuya Kimura) must go undercover and work again at the Hotel Cortesia Tokyo. There, he meets Naomi Yamagishi (Masami Nagasawa), who works as a concierge.
Without any information about the criminal, except that the person will be in attendance, Nitta works feverishly to find the criminal among the 500 attendees.

Today’s trailer is for “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War FINAL” (「かぐや様は告らせたい～天才たちの恋愛頭脳戦～ファイナル」), the sequel to the hit romcom movie based on the hit manga by Aka Akasaka, which also got an anime by A-1 Pictures!
A prestigious private high school has students who rank academically at the top of the nation. The school's student council president is Miyuki Shirogane (Sho Hirano) and their student council vice-president is Kaguya Shinomiya (Kanna Hashimoto). They are attracted to each other, but do not confess their feelings for each other due to their stubborn pride.
Half a year has passed since they have kept their feelings private, but things are about to change. Determined to think of ways to make the other confess first, Miyuki and Kaguya engage in a psychological cat and mouse battle where whoever confesses first is the loser!

Yusuke (Hidetoshi Nishijima) is a stage actor and a stage director. He is married to Fukaku (Reika Kirishima), who works as a playwright. They have a happy marriage, but Fukaku suddenly disappears and leaves behind a secret.
Two years later, Yusuke takes a job as the director at a theater festival. So he heads to Hiroshima, driving his car. There, he meets his exclusive chauffeur Misaki (Toko Miura), who doesn’t talk much. While spending time with her, Yusuke learns things which he has ignored.

Sota Hanai (Kento Hayashi) is 22-years-old and a university student in the veterinary department. Since he was little, he has always loved animals. His apartment is full of animals that needed help. One day, Sota saves a dog that was being used in experiments. To save more of the animals, he sets up the "Inubu" club. His friend Ryosuke Shibasaki (Taishi Nakagawa), among other people, joins the group. Ryosuke also loves dogs and is a student in the same veterinary department as Sota. They work hard to protect the animals. 16 years later, a report comes out. The report is about Sota, who was arrested.
