Living Proof — 2026 Daytime Emmy® Nominee for Outstanding Daytime Special.

For over three decades, The DIVA Foundation has believed that the most powerful stories come from the community itself — trusted messengers telling truths the world needs to hear. This nomination affirms what we’ve always known: grassroots storytelling, crafted with excellence, belongs on television’s biggest stage.

This honor belongs to Freda Freda Jones, Kennedi KLow, and the fearless women of LOTUS, who opened their lives so that Black women living with HIV in the South would be seen not as statistics, but as leaders, sisters, and survivors. And it belongs to the artists behind the camera who honored those stories with world-class craft.

For 35 years, The DIVA Foundation, under the leadership of Sheryl Lee Ralph, has remained committed to honoring the lives of those lost to HIV/AIDS while advancing education, advocacy, and prevention to help end the epidemic.

Through community outreach, the transformative power of the arts, and DIVAS Simply Singing, we remember those we've lost, uplift those living with HIV, confront stigma, and champion equitable access to care.

Our work continues because our mission remains clear: to educate, advocate, and inspire action until the fight against HIV/AIDS is over. ❤️
