The new Overview issue is here! Published twice a year, our community magazine celebrates the people, places, and stories that make Franklin Hills so special.

This edition honors the 100th Anniversary
of the Shakespeare Bridge.

The Overview is a community effort - created by neighbors who contribute their writing, photography, and editing talents. We’re also grateful to the local advertisers whose support helps make each issue possible. All 2,400 copies are hand-delivered to residences by volunteers.

Our Spring Fling Block Party, over the years!

One month from today we’ll host our annual spring event for the neighborhood. Join us Saturday, May 16 1pm-5pm on Radio St btwn Franklin & Ronda Vista Dr. Come for food & drink, wine tastings, live music, bounce house & crafts! All ages welcome & all free to enjoy! Last year’s was our biggest to date.

as a give back, we encourage neighbors to bring a donation for Los Feliz Bridge Housing (toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, body wash, sunscreen, razors, etc) ☀️♥️

Earlier today, we co-hosted a hike through our neighborhood with Charles Fleming (author of Secret Stairs: A Walking Guide to the Historic Staircases of Los Angeles) & CD4. It was a warm morning so we cut down the length a bit & powered through! FHRA Board Member, Mary Frances, helped welcome the group to our beautiful Hills!
