Agunik Poleyan (1988) & children

Arsen Gasparyan (1978) Father/Husband on November 11, 2021 passed away during the war

Mission: Purchased Home for Family

I want to give a very special thank you to Armond Garibyan and to our 2nd donor who would like to stay anonymous because of them we were able to purchase a home for our fallen hero's family. Arsen G. fought a hard battle until the very end in Jermuk, on November 16, 2021 he heroically lost his life, he refused to be captured. The devastation his family had to live of not only getting the call of his passing but when they were sent video's of how he was murdered. He left behind his wife and 3 kids.

When I was in Armenia I wanted to meet the family and to see there new home, the best part was that Armond and I arranged to meet the family together as a surprise. It was an amazing moment for me because Armond was also able to physically meet the family and see there new home.

I had the chance to also attend the finalisation of the home process at the notary (I was not allowed to video record the process). There were minor payments that I made to completely accomplish the final signing process. I also had a point added in the notary that the family can not sell the house or take out any loans on the house for 10 years. If ever the family decided to sell the house after 10 years $ will will be split equally between the mother and 3 children and this can only happen with all 4 signatures in agreement.

A lot went into making this happen and its a great accomplishment reaching the finish line but so much time and effort went into this. Many calls and texts back and forth with our donors. I know I drove them crazy but they had too be apart of the whole process. It was very stressful but I like to take the challenges that come my way because the outcome is very well worth it.

Mission: Baby formula/ food / medication etc.

Being in Armenia I was asked if I can help by purchasing baby formula for our little Daniel who is in the hospital due to intestinal problems. The family has been struggling with money and we have provided the baby formula for the family purchased from Alpa Pharm and will assist the family with $1,000.00 in purchasing Daniel’s baby formula/ food / medication etc.

Formula is 4,600 dram (if you have a card with Alpha Pharm they give a little discount) 4 baby formulas purchased totaling 17,924 dram / 409 dram = $43.82. $956.18 remaining will go towards purchasing more baby formula/ food / medication etc., when needed.

Mission: Doctor’s request, 6-month supply of treatment for epileptic spasms. Medication was donated 2 times for a full year.

Mission: Medication & Laundry Machine

Hasmik who is 10 years old needed
Psych. Medication. Hasmik had surgery where unfortunately the doctors had hit a nerve and have caused Hasmik to have blood clots in her brain that cause her to have seizures. The doctor's we're taken to court and have helped Hasmik with purchasing the medication but have stopped since the court process has finished.

This medication has been her only hope. 40 pieces of medication cost $40.00 ($1.00 each pill). My worker Artush has gone with Hasmik's mother to purchase the medication together.

Washing machine was also purchased. Fun fact, in Armenia the washing machines are all in one washer and dryer.

Mission: Gas Installation for Home

Visiting Vanush, our soldier who has fought in the 2020 Artsakh War, we noticed that the family had a wood burner in the middle of the home. With this particular project we decided to get families out from wood, trash and cow manure burning during the winter time. This has been an ongoing cycle for families for many-many years and it can be very dangerous and an unhealthy living environment for the family. We decided to replace the wood burner with white column radiators (paravon) in the family home in order to have a safe and warm living environment and not worrying if they will be able to keep the house warm during the winter time. We wouldn't be able to do what we do without the support of our donors.
