A grassroots mission to restore and rebuild the facilities at the oldest High School in Los Angeles while emphasizing that access to sport should be a necessity, rather than luxury.

We are excited to announce LA Saves Track is partnering with The Alice G. Harrison Memorial Foundation! The organization has existed as a direct partner with LA High since 1962 with a focus on improving opportunities for the students.

History Lesson:
Alice G. Harrison, class of 1895, left her estate to LA High School with the request in her will to provide “exceptional educational opportunities and experiences which would not otherwise be available to the students of the Los Angeles High School”. Shortly after, a board formed to live out Harrison’s vision. The board, composed of LA High alumni and faculty, stands in alignment with LA Saves Track’s mission and has added it to their focus until completed as well.

So what does this all mean?
We are now working directly with a nonprofit who has, for 60+ years, envisioned the best for the students of LA High. Their alumni network and passion to see the students thrive adds energy and opens new doors as we move closer to getting these kids a track.

So what’s been going on with LA Saves Track?

With the influx of support and recognition, the cause is in the midst of some leveling up before transitioning to the next phase. This includes forming partnerships with larger voices that can expedite the process. We look forward to dropping updates soon - once we finish this, we’ll be back to fundraising, pushing for breaking ground, and more.

HOODIE PICK UP THIS WEEK

Product is here and ready for pickup. DM ahead of time if you’re coming so we can pull your size!!

PICK UP LOCATIONS

* WEDNESDAY 1/18 at Maru Coffee. Come at 8-9am for pick up. If you’re in the area and wanna hit some trail miles in Griffith include it in your DM!
* Friday 1/20 at come at 5pm for the run or 6pm to just pick up. Pizza might be included 👀

Please remember to DM us prior to coming so we have your size pulled!!

Shipments roll out THIS week and individual tracking codes will be sent to buyers. We will be reaching out for addresses

Introducing the LA Saves Track hoodie.

As the project has grown, we’ve gotten a ton of requests for another merch drop so people can wear the cause on their back.

With help from we were able to get a new drop out that encompassed our love for the school, mission, and community behind it.

Per usual, all proceeds go to the cause.

Welcome back.

School is in and track season is among us, so we’re heading back to the community to remind y’all that we aren’t don’t yet!

While we’ve been off social we’ve been in fantastic talks with the district about our project, it’s impact, and why we need their help!

More updates to come on where track progress stands, but for now, no news is good news 😉

FIRST ENERGY DROP TONIGHT! SET YOUR ALARMS 🚨

We’re back at the track today fundraising with sunglasses and !

Runners will be racing in the infamous Donut Mile which requires not only eating 4 donuts but also climbing up an inflatable slide into a sprinkle pit.

We’re stoked to say this event is SOLD OUT but come support the cause by buying a spectator ticket! All sales go to the cause.
