Westside for Everyone has officially endorsed
(Measure HLA), a ballot measure for safer streets in the upcoming March 5th election. 

Measure HLA will help Los Angeles make transit, bike, and walk ability improvements across the city. It will accelerate LA’s pace towards reaching its Mobility Plan 2035 goals, which the LA City Council overwhelmingly approved in 2015.

Under HLA, every time a street is repaved, corresponding Mobility Plan improvement must be implemented. This will help make the streets safer for everyone without raising taxes. Giving Angelenos more mobility options will also improve traffic conditions and clean up our air. 

Given a pedestrian is killed every two days in LA, the time for safer streets is now. Measure HLA will help the city implement mobility improvements that they already approved making. 
 
You can help pass Measure HLA by voting in the primary election on March 5th—and that’s not all!

This Wednesday, January 26th at 8pm we will volunteering with to help count people experiencing homelessness in our neighborhoods. This is key for understanding service needs in each area and tracking how the crisis is changing over time.

Westside 4 Everyone members are volunteering in West LA and Palms locations, but we encourage you to sign up for the time/place that works best for you!
