Throwback Thursday:
🏈The Labour Day Classic, north of the border always brings extra incentive for a W, but this one was pure bragging rights. On September 5, 1983, the Calgary Stampeders, faced off against the Edmonton Eskimos. Just days earlier, Edmonton, had released me on cut-down day as a receiver. I suited up for Calgary, at running back and made the game-winning, ultimate-revenge play—beating my former team on a massive reception! True story. Karma is real. 🐎💥

My only real question is about my time with Toronto, in 1986. I know we swept Hamilton, in the two games I played against them that year, but what is my official all-time record in the Labour Day Classic?

Craig Ellis wore many hats — and two different helmets — for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. There was a logo change between his two full seasons with the Green and White (1984 and 1985). The difference he noticed on Friday, when he dropped by Mosaic Stadium and watched part of the Roughriders’ ...
