The evening kicks off with the stage reading of our Best Short winner DO YOU TAKE THIS…? by ERIC GUSTAFSON!

We continue on with a screening of the finished film of 2023 Best Short winner SMOKE BREAKS by William Mettlach!

Meet the incredible Guest Artists joining us for our fourth Del Shores Foundation Writers Festival in Pensacola this weekend, hosted at Pensacola Little Theatre, presented by The Red Ribbon Foundation with Stamped Film Festival! May 8-10!

Our fourth annual Del Shores Foundation Writers Festival opens this Friday, May 8 in Pensacola at the Pensacols Theatre, presented by The Red Ribbon Foundation with PLT & Stamped Film Festival!

Opening Night starts with the reading of this year’s winning short DO YOU TAKE THIS…? by ERIC GUSTAGSON, followed by a screening of the finished short from our 2023 winner William Mettlach, SMOKE BREAKS! It’s an exciting celebration because Del & Emerson met William for the first time here at Stamped and the film was shot in Pensacols by Calliope Films!

The second half of the evening, Del sits down for a fun and freewheeling One-on-One with PETER PAIGE, the Q***r As Folk star and co-creator of the long-running hit shows, THE FOSTERS & GOOD TROUBLE!

The World Premiere of our 2024 DSF Writers Search Best Play winner EMMA SCHILLAGE’S COCKROACHES closed on Sunday in Palm Springs at Revolution Stage Company and it was a roaring success!!

The reviews raved about Emma’s script, the big swing of the story, every single cast member’s performance and Emerson’s direction.

Del hosted the Q&A opening weekend, and it was amazing to see so many of our ambassadors and supporters come out to see, enjoy and support the show! THANK YOU all and CONGRATULATIONS EMMA!!

The WORLD PREMIERE of our 2024 DSF Writers Festival Best Play winner EMMA SCHILLAGE’S COCKROACHES opens NEXT FRIDAY, April 24, 2026 at our theatre partner Revolution Stage Company in Palm Springs!

Directed by Emerson Collins and funded in part by our DSF Play Production Grant sponsored by Dennis Frisman and starring Leilani Baldwin, Mat Hayes, April Mejia, Fatima Reyes & Casey Wilson.

It is extremely exciting for us to share the real world art that is being created because of your enthusiastic support of the work we are doing here.

If you are in Palm Springs join us for Opening Night, 4/24, Emma will be there with Del & Emerson, VIP pre-show meet & greet available! Also, all three will be doing a Q&A after the Sunday, 4/26 matinee!
