In Cardiovascular/Metabolic Research
The laboratory of Dr. Yibin Wang from the Division of Molecular Medicine, Departments of Anesthesiology, Physiology and Medicine, and UCLA-Cardiovascular Research Theme at the David Geffen School of Medicine is seeking applicants for new opened post-doctoral fellow positions in the research area of cardiometabolic diseases and therapy. The recent publications from the lab can be found on Google Scholar.
Qualified applicants are expected to have M.D. and/or Ph.D. at the time of appointment who should have demonstrated research capability and commitment, with particular expertise in systems biology, genomics, molecular biology, and metabolism. Research experience in cardiometabolic pathophysiology is a plus but not necessary. The successful applicants will join a vibrant and highly interactive research team with broad range of research projects focusing on basic molecular signaling, genomic biology and cellular metabolism, to translational development of novel therapies. The lab is located in newly renovated Cardiovascular Theme Research laboratories, supported by state-of-the-art Core facilities.
Fellows would be part of the Cardiovascular Research Theme at UCLA spanning multiple Departments and Institutes, offering unsurpassed access to collaborative opportunities in basic and translational research.
